Everyone on the Smart team recognizes that it's been a minute since they last updated their compact ForTwo. Others have been in on the redesign game, including Jeremy Scott and Jose Alarcon's Dakar Rally edition, but the time has come for the official update of its ForTwo, launching the special edition CityBeam. The upgrade builds on their last take, the CityFlame, which allowed drivers a wide range of customizations, and is dubbed the CityBeam. Coming in both coupe and cabrio editions, the CityBeam debuted at the 2014 Brussels Motor Show and rides on 15-inch double three-spoke alloy wheels and comes with titanium-colored headlights, LED DRLs, and the edition logo plastered on the mirror triangles. Inside the cabin, you'll find leather upholstery with crystal gray fabric and contrast stitching while, under the hood, drivers have the choice of an inline 3-cylinder 1.0-liter engine with 71 HP, an 84 HP turbocharged option, or a 75 HP electric. The new Smart ForTwo CityBeam is already heading to the dealerships so check after the jump for more looks before heading out.
