If you've been looking for a new watch to cop, Audemars Piguet has just rolled out a pretty impressive update to one of their stalwart timepieces: The Royal Oak Offshore. First released back in 1993, the watch was a risk for the high-end brand, where they essentially created their own category of over-sized sports luxury watches, but the design then - just as they still do - caught on like wildfire. The watch also stood out because of its size, measuring up at 42mm in diameter with "Mega Tapisserie" dials, which was pretty big for the early 90's, with an extra thick case, a beefy bracelet, and rivets that look like they can hold the Sears Tower in place. The Royal Oak line has continued to evolve, dropping now in a series of new colorways that will satisfy die-hard owners and inspire new ones to convert to the religion that is AP timepieces.
