For Spring 2014, Converse introduces two new colorways from the 1970s Chuck Taylor All Star collection. Released under the brand's premium First String imprint, the Chucks come in high and low variations, with subtle details that set the shoe apart. Look for slightly higher rubber foxing along the sole, as well as added cushioning and a slightly bulkier toe box. Additional details include stitching on the sidewall and a rubber All Star license plate at the heel. Both styles are built with a heavyweight canvas upper, finished in Mint on the low and Purple on the high-top. Expect the kicks to launch at select retailers in early February.
