As the new kid on the block, Aimé Leon Dore certainly has a lot to prove, but the New York-based brand has shown off a debut collection that shows it’s up for the challenge. Photographer Jerry Buttles shot the inaugural lookbook, featuring a 13-piece ready-to-wear collection that squarely places the emphasis on clean lines and colors, as well as comfort and functionality. Look for winter wardrobe essentials like thermal-lined crewnecks, chambray button-downs and slim-fit chinos, along with a flight jacket and French terry coat offering an inventive new take on classic outerwear. The goods are available now through the brand’s site, which is set to become a hub for future editorials, as well as videography and photography features. Check out the full lookbook below.
