Among timepiece aficionados, the Bell & Ross name calls up images of the planes and the instrument panels that their watches were inspired by. With the BR 03-94, the mold fits again, with a square case, dial, and hands the look like they were taken directly from an aviation manual. The 43mm BR 03-94 is actually made as a smaller alternative to the larger, 46mm BR-01, which was also given a Carbon Orange hit of color to further distinguish it from the rest of the line. In the cockpit, the orange color was used to highlight crucial information for the pilot, easily standing out against the traditional white/black contrast. In this case, the orange takes care of the chronograph functions. The orange colorway extends down to the canvas strap that can be switched out (but why?) for a black rubber version that dilutes the intended power of the initial design, but could come in handy if you want to take this watch to a more formal setting. This specific piece is limited to an edition of only 500 pieces and is priced at $5,900.
