You may have already heard of Mercedes-Benz's planned replacement for the CL-Class, the new S-Class Coupe, after its debut at the Geneva Motor Show, but today marks MB's first official full press release of the new high-performance AMG model, the S63 AMG Coupe. Set to join its variant for delivery at dealers later this fall, this 2015 edition will be coming with 4MATIC all-wheel-drive standard with a 33-67 front/rear torque split for that rear-wheel-drive feel, but with the benefits of four wheels when things get dicey. Power comes from the familiar twin-turbo 5.5-liter V-8, which sends 585 hp and 664 lb/ft of torque down through the seven-speed automatic transmission helping to send the sleek coupe to 62 mph in 3.9 seconds. Inside, the luxury continues, with a wrap-around feel that makes it look like the instrument panel and the rest of the cabin are all one piece of premium hardware, also finished with AMG bucket seats, a three-spoke steering wheel, and Nappa leather throughout. Pricing and availability will be announced in a few months, but we have plenty of preview shots - inside and out - of this latest svelte addition to MB's line-up after the jump.
