Known for their distinctive traits, bouclé fabrics have been the favorites among fashion designers. This was especially for Coco Chanel, who created her now famous bouclé tweed jacket and skirt combo in 1954. In that same spirit, designer Matte Fields, found of the LA-based DOPE apparel brand, recreated a bouclé outerwear but in the form of a motorcycle jacket. Made with 100% cotton and in a grey melange colorway, the outerwear features all the characteristics of a motorcycle jacket, like the offset zipper, articulated shoulder pads and padded elbow patches. Part of DOPE’s high-end DOPE HOMME line, the Bouclé Moto Jacket is available now through the label’s online shop and its boutique location in Los Angeles.
