Many of you admire a good vintage watch. While you certainly enjoy a new timepiece and marvel at all their advanced technology and modern aesthetics, you still have a preference for a vintage wrist look that tells a story. Despite it being 2014, Tudor keeps things looking classic for their latest and just unveiled version of the Black Bay, which is a key part of their Heritage collection. It features a black dial with a matte blue bezel, which is a colorway that emphasizes the history of the Tudor brand that were initially tuned for divers of the French Navy. If you look back through their catalogs, you won't exactly find this look, which is because the Black Bay is a synthesis of previous dive watches, like the Tudor Submariner (circa 1954) and the domed sapphire crystal and "snowflake" hour hand from their '70's-era pieces. This piece is powered by a 2824 movement with a 38-hour power reserve, held within a 41mm steel and polished satin finished case. The look is finished with a steel screw-down crown engraved with the Tudor rose logo and a dark blue aged-leather or polished steel strap for $3,100 and $3,425, respectively.
