With Nike’s world headquarters plus regional offices for adidas, Sorel, Columbia Sportswear, Keen, Hi-Tec Sports, Danner and Li-Ning, all within the City of Portland’s vicinity, its residents have debated over the question of “What is the Perfect Sneaker?” Of course there isn’t a “right” answer though folks over at Jordan Brand might have something close to it by shamelessly proclaiming the Air Jordan 1 OG as the “perfect” sneaker. There is some truth to that proclamation, the Air Jordan 1 was and still is a timeless classic. It was quite original when first introduced back in 1984. Because of how it changed our perceptions of sneakers, most consider it as The Original.
As a way to commemorate its “perfect” sneaker title, Jordan Brand and TEDxPortland created a special Air Jordan 1 edition in premium black or white leather. Imprinted with a Rose and PDX graphic on the insoles, the shoe features the word “Perfect” encapsulated with the translucent outsole. Limited to just 230 individually numbered pairs, the TEDxPortland x Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG “Perfect” Edition will be available in only two ways.
– Visit http://tedxportland.com/artshow to place bids on two pairs (1 Men’s, 1 Women’s)
