In addition to a drastically revised Charger, Dodge is also debuting the 2015 Challenger at this year’s New York Auto Show. The striking retro design is inspired by the iconic 1971 model, featuring a new split grille, a more pronounced power bulge in the hood and split LED taillights in the back. The car is available in eight different variations, with the most powerful models grouped under the Scat Pack, featuring a 6.4-liter HEMI V-8, good for 485 horsepower and 475 pound-feet of torque. Those models also get Brembo brakes and 20-inch aluminum wheels. Next in line are the Shaker models, which get a 5.7-liter HEMI that produces 375 hp and 410 lb-ft of torque, followed by the entry-level SXT and SXT Plus models. They’re powered by Chrysler’s 3.6-liter Pentastar V-6, which makes 305 horsepower. The 2015 Dodge Challenger hits showrooms this fall.
