Engineers from HAMANN Motorsport pored through every schematic of the new BMW X5 to create its latest tuning kit. Also known internally as the F15 series, HAMANN re-designed all of the key portions extensively. New front, side skirts, and roof-mounted spoiler improve aerodynamics while a choice of light-alloy wheels adds responsive handling to the equation. In the meantime, a new Engine Control Unit (ECU) provides additional boost to the vehicle’s performance, with one for the xDrive50i capable of producing 490 horsepower and a max torque of 707 Nm from the original 450 horsepower and torque of 650 Nm.
