Last week the first images surfaced for Kanye West's New Testament as individually numbered postcards prominently portraying a classical David statue by Michelangelo with handwritten notes scrawled across the back. Many assumed the messages (225 in total) were a guerilla marketing tactic for an upcoming Yeezy project, but last night it was revealed, through the Twitter account @KWsNewTestament that, that this was the lead for fan made documentary. The 30 minute video is a compilation of Kanye's musings and quotations from 2013 to present -- some of it is off the wall, some of it is insightful.
Set to the score of There Will Be Blood, the quotes are accompanied by some not so subtle visual reinforcements. The documentarian is clearly a student in the schoolings of Ye, and with rumors of an upcoming spoken word album the documentary seems to capture Kanye's essence. If you've got 30 minutes to burn the video is available below the fold. Let us know what you think in the comments.
