Yohji Yamamoto - Spring/Summer 2015 Collection Runway Show
Yohji Yamamoto took to Paris Fashion Week with a Spring/Summer 2015 collection that was impressively diverse -- featuring looks that were casual, formal, avant-garde and refined -- but distinctively Yohji. There were the Japanese designer's signature quirks, including head scarves and randomly placed leather patches on military-inspired jackets, and a play on traditional proportions that found jacket buttons shifted to the side. A denim grouping gave the revitalized the time-worn material, used on pieces ranging from baggy gaucho pants and a large shawl. It was emblematic of the collection at large, which gave the impression of vintage treasures given a second leash on life. Check out the rest of the collection below.
