Maybe the last tool any Do-It-Yourselfers will need to carry, the Tool Pen is a lightweight, ultra portable alternative to your standard, run-in-the-mill screwdriver. Inspired by those “Pop-A-Point” mechanical pencil, the Tool Pen can store up to 6 different bits at any given time. Like the pencil, simply pull out the first bit till you reach the one you need while inserting the rest into the back. Made from solid aluminum and machined into a hexagonal form for easy handling, the barrel also includes “windows” for you to see the bits in the pen. Made by Taiwan-based design firm mininch, the Tool Pen comes in either Champagne Gold, Gunmetal and Snow Silver colorway. Each with 13 types of bits, including the common Slotted Bits (Flat) in SL3, SL4, SL4.5 and Phillips Bits in PH1 and PH2.
Currently available as a KICKSTARTER project with a starting contribution of $35 USD for 1 Tool Pen and 6 bits, $45 USD for 1 Tool Pen and 13 bits, all the way to $105 USD, which offers all 3 Tool Pen colors and a set of 39 bits.
