A skateboard has always had a dual purpose, a mode of transport and a blank canvas for graphics, and some have pushed the convention of how a skateboard should look. Various board shapes were tried and tested in the past, but this latest design could be the most experimental and conceptual. New York's established skateboard manufacturer Chapman Skateboards collaborated with New Museum for a series of special boards. Inspired by the New Museum Store window installation by Canyon Castator and Richard Duff in 2012, the extremely short deck was cut to mimic the installation. Only 150 units will be on sale exclusively at New Museum Store and online shop.
