Jordan Brand has officially taken the wraps off the new Super.Fly 3, created by a dedicated team of designers using Blake Griffin’s high-flying game as the shoe’s inspiration. The upper features synthetic overlays to add additional structure on the toe and heel, as well as lightweight textile quarter panels finished in a distinctive pattern inspired by a sonic boom. An evolved FlightPlate provides the power for flight, while a Nike Zoom unit amplifies energy return in the forefoot. Additional performance benefits include the Flight Web fit system, good for stabilizing lockdown and extra support, plus a sock-like inner sleeve and padded Achilles notch. A multi-directional outsole pattern taking cues from the Air Jordan XX9 rounds out the details. The Jordan Super.Fly 3 launches October 1st in two introductory colorways, with retail set at $140.
