The McLaren P1 has rightfully earned the reputation as one of the most extreme supercars ever made, but now the car has a track-only successor -- the McLaren P1 GTR --  that's "optimized to offer more extreme performance." In practical terms, this means the 903 horses from the P1's plug-in hybrid drivetrain has been increased to an insane 986 horsepower. Harnessing that muscle are race-proven slick tires, a wider track, fixed ride height, fixed rear wing and an ERS-style push-to-pass system that provides an additional boost of temporary energy. Check out more looks below, as well as shots from the vehicle's debut this past weekend at the Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance.
