Calling it the future of the luxury SUV, Volvo has taken the wraps off the 2015 Volvo XC90. The exterior showcases distinctive “Thor’s Hammer” LED headlights and the brand’s signature logo on the prominent front grille, but the Swedish automaker has seemingly placed central importance to the interior, appointed in a combination of walnut wood inlays and Nappa leather, and highlighted by an infotainment screen integrated into the center stack. Under the hood is a 2.0-liter turbocharged and supercharged engine with all-wheel drive, good for 316 horsepower. Customers who opt for the twin engine plug-in hybrid variant will get the same engine, but one that boasts 400 horsepower and CO2 emissions of just around 60 g/km. The Volvo XC90 arrives in showrooms in April 2015.
