Olympus has unveiled its seventh-generation installment in the brand's entry-level mirrorless line, the Olympus PEN E-PL7. It shares its 16-megapixel micro four thirds sensor and TruePic VII image processor from the more expensive OM-D line, but the main draw here is a 3-inch flip-out LCD that facilitates the shooting of selfies. Lowering the display triggers a "Selfie Mode," showcasing touch screen capability and a time-delayed shot. The downward angle should result in more flattering images, and powered zoom lenses with wide-angle views ensure that you stay inside the frame. The Olympus E-PL7 ships in September, retailing for $600 for the body alone, or $700 bundled with a 14-42mm f/3.5-5.6 lens.
