Mere months following the launch of the Sony Xperia Z2 smartphone, the brand has announced its successor, the aptly named Xperia Z3. Running a Sony-skinned version of Android 4.4.4, the device sports a 5.2-inch 1080p display and a 20.7-megapixel camera with a new wide-angle 25mm lens and impressive ISO 12,800 light sensitivity. It'll be slightly faster with a 2.5GHz Snapdragon 801 processor, housed in a case that's dust-tight and waterproof. Features include DSEE HX audio upscaling technology that improves the quality of compressed music, and a "Face In" function that captures your reaction to a shot as you take it. But the real killer feature just may be the ability to use the Xperia Z3 as remote screen to connect to and control your games on PS4. The Sony Xperia Z3 is expected to launch this fall.
