Yet, over half of them weren’t certain about the importance of Michael Jordan except for his association to the sport. That is about to change thanks to the new Jordan Brand "Take Flight" Exhibition at NikeLab X158 SHA in Shanghai. One part launch event for the new Air Jordan XX9, which will be on-sale across the Greater China region of Taiwan, Hong Kong and China starting tomorrow, the exhibition is also a physical timeline based on the History of Flight.
Featuring an installation filled with infinity mirrors, the refraction of light and reflection of image refer to the lightness of Air Jordan XX9 and its Flyknit construct. Then there is the exhibit’s centerpiece, a Jordan-filled corridor that starts with Air Jordan 1 all the way to Air Jordan XX8. each “shrink wrapped” in “blister pack” format along with individual components and of course, Nike Air units.[/column]
