HOOD BY AIR – Spring/Summer 2015 Collection | Runway Show
Creative types often refer their creations as “children,” a description that’s part term of endearment and part portrayal of the effort spent on it. In designer Shayne Oliver’s case, his l’enfant terrible HOOD BY AIR might have just hit puberty. With New York Knick’s JR Smith, Edison Chen, Nick Wooster and others among the attendees, HBA presented its Spring/Summer 2015 Collection within the light drenched studio overlooking New York City’s TriBeCa neighborhood. As we saw during the previous runway show earlier this year, HOOD BY AIR’s gradual departure from its original composition of graphic tee and hoody is even more apparent this time around. While still heavy on the logos, your line of sight might veer towards the colleciton’s cut & sew of various types, as well as embossed leather jackets, denim, and the occasional Medieval locked & stock.
