Milanese coach builder Zagato has unveiled a custom Aston Martin Virage Shooting Brake at the 2014 Chantilly Concours d’Elegance in France, a showcase for Italian style and British engineering. Created to celebrate its 95 years in the industry, Zagato took the shooting brake body -- essentially a coupe with a rear hatch -- and imbued it with styling inspired by the lines of Aston Martin's V8 Vantage of the '80s and the Virage of the early '90s. The underpinnings, meanwhile, appear to be borrowed from the latest 2012 Aston Martin Virage, which means the vehicle is packing a 6.0-liter V-12, good for 490 horsepower. The one-of-a-kind car, commissioned by an unnamed European client, represents the final installment of an Aston Martin-Zagato centennial trilogy, one that includes DBS coupe and DB9 Spider versions.
