After getting a glimpse of the new 2015 Jaguar XE, we know exactly why the luxury car maker just couldn't wait until the Paris Motor Show to officially debut their new toy. In what many are calling one of the most important launches to date, the 2015 XE is the true definition of what it means – and looks – to be a Jaguar. As you can see in the pictures and video after the jump, the XE adopts the stylish exterior of its XF predecessor, including a sculpted hood, a rounded windscreen, and chrome in all the right places. A dual exhaust system and optional 20-inch alloy wheels finish the like-butter look. Inside, the cabin keeps things looking simple, but there’s really a lot going on in here, from Bluetooth/USB connectivity, to Wi-Fi hotspot capability, and an assortment of apps built into the infotainment center, meaning you can control much about your car from your smartphone wirelessly. Under the hood, the XE is powered with a supercharged 3.0-liter V6 that puts out 340 PS and 331 lb-ft of torque via an eight-speed automatic that ushers you to 60mph in just 4.9 seconds. The XE will also come in 2.0-liter variants, but each comes with an all-new aluminum modular platform as its base causing it to be as strong as it is light. To put it simply, the XE “is absolutely at the cutting edge of what is achievable today.” Where do we sign?
