Converse has unveiled the new All Star Chuck '70 Polartec, a weather resistant take on the iconic sneaker, featuring revolutionary Polartec weatherization technology applied to a sneaker for the first time. The traditional canvas-rubber construction we're accustomed to is upgraded with a Polartec Power Shield Pro membrane, inserted between the outer canvas and inner tricot lining. The innovative material combines air permeability with durable hydrostatic resistance, resulting in water repellent properties and unprecedented breathability. The Converse All Star Chuck ’70 Polartec is available in a bright Clematis Blue high-top and Gargoyle Gray ox, each designed with a reverse-color tongue, as well as a bright red eyelet and a unique color-pop turquoise d-ring eyelet -- a nod to traditional outdoor footwear. Look for the kicks to launch soon at select Converse retailers, including Livestock Canada stores, plus Converse San Francisco and SoHo.
