Back in the early '90s, the Beastie Boys revealed themselves to be anything but slackers, establishing an in-house record label, recording studio and magazine. All these years later, founding member Mike D is still keeping busy, having designed his own townhouse in the Cobble Hill section of Brooklyn. And now he's moved on to a different townhouse, once again working with architects John and Jill Bouratoglou, though this one isn't for Mike D's personal use. The 4,150 square-foot single-family home, located on 242 Pacific Street in Brooklyn's Boerum Hill neighborhood, is listed at $4.98 million. The corner property, currently under construction, features four bedrooms, four full bathrooms, double-height living room, private garage, two outdoor terraces, a roof deck and central vacuum cleaner system. Construction is scheduled for completion in December of this year.
