Don't let the title of this post deceive you; there's more going on with this release than just a new color. While the new exterior does offer something worth your while, there are also a number of feature updates with the unveiling of the new FujiFilm X-T1 Graphite. First off, the outside does pick-up a new triple-layer coating that uses a proprietary process to achieve the unique look and smooth feel using ultra-fine paint particles. Functionality wise, a new natural live view mode lets you look through the viewfinder in the same way you would use the optical viewfinder and an enhanced shutter speed to 1/3200 raises the bar. A new "Classic Chrome" film simulation mode has also been added to match that seen in other Fujifilm models. Set to arrive in late November for $1,500, this should be at the top of your gift list for any photog in your family.
