Forging a new retail concept far apart for its familiar Bohemianism theme, Urban Outfitters recently established Space Ninety 8, an experimental storefront in Brooklyn that will be hosting two pop-up shops for Japan's Heather Grey Wall and Mark McNairy New Amsterdam starting this month. Located within the lower level of Space Ninety 8, Heather Grey Wall by Japanese designer Kazuki Kuraishi will be offering hard-to-find merchandises from three of the brands he’s involve with - CASH CA, A.Four Labs, and Heather Grey Wall x Mark McNairy. In addition, a section of the store will be devoted to a curated assortment of menswear, as well as trinkets from Japan and Kuraishi’s own Odds and Ends book. Also on premise at The Marketspace section is the pop-up shop for Mark McNairy New Amsterdam. Dedicated to American classics and clothing with a artisanal flair, the temporary boutique will be selling a select range of article from McNairy’s new collection including accessories, tees, footwear and more.
Opened last Friday with live DJ set by Vito & Druzzi, Kuraishi and McNairy joined friends and family for a personalized tour of the new retail space. Located in Williamsburg part of Brooklyn, the Heather Grey Wall pop-up shop at Space Ninety 8 will run from now till Monday, October 27th, while the Mark McNairy New Amsterdam space will last till Monday, November 3rd.
