Buell X1 | By Sartorie Meccaniche
Recently, Francesco Torricella and his custom bike shop Sartorie Meccaniche were given the opportunity to put their stylish Italian touch to a Buell X1. The bike's owner gave the crew carte blance, save for a couple of provisos: one, the tank had be painted iBritish racing green, and two, any modifications would have to be reversible in case the machine eventually went up for sale. Revisions included a tubular steel and painted black subframe, a fiberglass Norton endurance racing fuel tank, single carb construction with a K&N filter and a free-flow muffler and an entirely new cockpit.
