However, it was its staple, the down vest with single leather yoke, that the label known for, even till this day. Now that same iconic silhouette is finding itself on the Rocky Mountain Featherbed’s latest collaboration with Carhartt WIP. Simply named as the “Christy,” the collaborative effort comes in two forms - vest and jacket, with colors Olive, Navy, and Black to select from. Made from weather resistant 70-denier nylon and Insulated with a 70% Down / 30% Feather mix, a pile lined collar helps to keep the wintery element out. Of course, on the shoulder of each is Rocky Mountain Featherbed’s signature, a seamless yoke made of cow hide.
Handcrafted in Japan, the Carhartt WIP x Rocky Mountain Featherbed Co. “Christy” Jacket retails for $980 USD while the vest version sells for $700 USD. Both are available now through Carhartt WIP online store and select Carhartt WIP store locations worldwide.
