For the dedicated runner, the activity is an all-weather sport that never goes out of season. With that conceit in mind, Nike's new winter running gear features maximum warmth, breathability and reflectivity, as well as wind and water resistance. This year’s collection is designed to help keep runners visible, dry and warm to the core, even in the face of harsh inclement weather. As Nike puts it, it's the perfect gear for imperfect conditions.
The footwear side of the collection is made up of the Flash Pack for both men and women, featuring the new Nike Air Zoom Structure 18, the Nike Free 5.0, the Nike LunarGlide 6 and the Nike Air Zoom Pegasus 31. Each shoe has an upper made with tightly woven mesh or treated with durable water repellent (DWR) coating, along with reflective elements for increased visibility in low light. On the apparel side are the Nike Shield Flash Max Jacket, Nike Flash Tight, Nike Aeroloft Hybrid Jacket and Nike Rain Runner Jacket. The entire collection is available this month at select Nike Running retailers and online.
