In the spirit of innovation ingrained within the history and culture of the Pacific Northwest, two of Oregon's finest have come together for a unique project that modernizes each brand's legacy of custom creations. The upcoming Pendleton by NIKEiD joint venture features eight iconic silhouettes from the Swoosh -- the Nike Roshe Low and Mid, Nike SB Janoski Low and Mid, Nike Air Force 1 High and Low, and the Air Max 1 Low and Mid -- available in three tartan patterns, one plaid, and four solid-color wool fabrics, as well as 10 leathers and an array of accent colors. The collection features Pendleton's Umatilla medium-weight 100% virgin wool -- used on the brand's men's shirts since 1924 and named after Oregon's Umatilla County -- highlighted by natural benefits tried and tested over the decades, while the available tartans bring their own individual histories: the Black Watch Tartan (Blue/Green) is based on the pattern worn by the Scottish 42nd (Royal Highland) Regiment in the 1700s, joined by the MacRae Dress (Grey/Red) and Robertson (Red/Blue/Green) Tartans sournced from traditional Scottish clan patterns.
The Nike Air Force 1 Low, Nike Roshe Low and Mid, and Nike SB Janoski Low and Mid will launch October 6th on NIKEiD. The Nike Air Force 1 High and Nike Air Max 1 Low and Mid will follow on November 3rd.
