Nike just released more information about its upcoming release of the Nike Air Command Force. Staying to the original 1991 edition, the retro variant will be featuring a functional Air-Fit pump.

An evolution that started with the Air Force 1, Air Force II, continued onward to AF3, Air Force STS and finally Air Force V, the Air Command Force was the culmination of cutting-edge technology Nike has to offer at the time. With the application of its Air-Fit component, an anatomically correct inflatable bladder around the ankle, plus Nike Air cushioning on its forefoot and heel, the Air Command Force became the flagship model for Nike Basketball and David "The Admiral" Robinson’s signature footwear. Not to mention, the go-to pair for Billy Hoyle (Woody Harrelson) in quintessential 90s comedy White Men Can’t Jump. Now with its impending re-release, its likely to regain its cultural importance once again.

Retails for $200 USD, the Nike Air Command Force will be available on Saturday, October 18th, via select Nike Sportswear retailers around the world.
