Back in August of this year, we caught a glimpse of the upcoming collaboration between gaming giant Nintendo and CONVERSE for Super Mario Bros.. Now we get another look at this Made in Japan edition once again courtesy of mita sneakers. The third of such collaboration between the two companies since 2011 and liike their 2012 collaborative project, the 2014 pack features CONVERSE One Star Oxford, with one in all red, the other in green, both in reference to Mario and Luigi’s plumber uniforms as well as the “mushrooms” throughout the video game. Other highlights include the gold or white star debossed in the mid-panel, studded heel stripe, and special tongue tags, all referring back to the classic video game also. Part of CONVERSE Japan’s collection for 2014, the new Super Mario Bros. x CONVERSE One Star Ox will be available across retailers in Japan later this month.
