Nissan has unveiled the Kicks concept ahead of its official debut at this year's edition of the Sao Paulo Motor Show, an event that occurs every other year. The creation of the sleek crossover was a global affair: under the leadership of the Global Design Center in Japan, the concept was developed by Nissan Design America in San Diego with input from Nissan Design America Rio, the recently-opened satellite design studio. According to Nissan, the main inspiration for the concept was the contrast between the grey-toned urban setting of Sao Paulo, and the bright natural colors that surround the city. The upshot: a silver exterior paint job with contrast orange accents throughout. Large 19-inch alloy wheels, roof rails and a V-shaped front grille complete the look.
