Hot on the heels of Apple’s upcoming wearable, Samsung has finally announced a release date for the Gear S smartwatch. After making waves with the Galaxy Gear last year (remember that awesome commercial?), the South Korean tech giant said in a statement that their newest addition to a growing line of timepieces will be available in the U.S. starting next Friday, November 7. Featuring a 2-inch curved Super AMOLED display, the Gear S will be one of the first smartwatches to have a standalone cellular connection, which means you can reach Zordon with just a few taps of your fingers. Pricing is as follows: $200 on AT&T, $350 on T-Mobile, $384 on Sprint and $350 on Verizon.
Release Date: November 7, 2014 (Friday)
