Mercedes-Benz has unveiled a very futuristic concept called G-Code, a compact crossover that could take their line of SUVs to the next level. Even shorter than the GLA, the smallest crossover in the current lineup, the G-Code is just 161-inches long. Straight out of the Mercedes-Benz design studios in Germany and China, it features short overhangs, LED headlights and big 21-inch alloy wheels. Depending on the driving mode, the front grille lights up in bright hues of red, blue and purple. Additionally, the body of the car uses a multi-voltaic paint that works as a solar cell, producing energy while under the sun, and also regenerates electrostatic energy when wind hits. In other words, the body is one giant solar panel. Very cool. Unfortunately, the Mercedes-Benz G-Code is just a concept (for now) but will make an appearance at the Los Angeles Auto Show later this month.
