MB&F's newest watch has an appearance that seemingly stretches the boundaries of what one could even call a watch. Inspired by the Captain Future animated series from the 1970s, the HM6 Space Pirate has a case made from two blocks of milled titanium, requiring about 100 hours of polishing and brushing to achieve the desired finish. But the centerpiece here is made up of five individual domes. They display actual time and a flying tourbillon that can be protected behind a retractable shield, along with a pair of vaned turbines that spin, helping to absorb energy and reduce wear and tear on the Space Pirate's self-winding mechanisms. The MB&F HM6 Space Pirate will be limited to just 50 pieces, each carrying a price tag of $230,000.
