In 2013, HUBLOT announced a new powerhouse collab with the Los Angeles Lakers basketball team, becoming their official timekeeper and watch-making partner. Building on their singular collab with Kobe Bryant launched last year, Hublot now expands with a timepiece for the entire squad, which is also being released in limited editions for fans. Dubbed the King Power Los Angeles Lakers, this 48mm wide black ceramic, titanium, and carbon fiber watch uses the bold King Power chronograph with plenty of thematic enhancements to fit the Laker's brand. Perhaps the boldest tweak has to be the golden yellow and purple straps provided, which match the decorations inside the skeletonized dial. Inside, you'll find a HUB 4248 automatic movement and a chronograph designed to count up to 48 minutes, which is the length of a basketball game. The look is finished with a sapphire crystal display back stamped with the Lakers logo. Priced at $27,900, only 50 of these watches will be hitting the HUBLOT boutique in Beverly Hills.
