Jaguar Announces 2016 All-Wheel Drive F-Type
Jaguar has announced that the F-Type will be getting a all-wheel drive treatment. After rumors of one floated around for a while, the luxury car maker has made it official. The F-Type R Coupe runs from 0 to 60 in just 3.9 seconds, making it 0.1 seconds faster than its rear-wheel drive counterpart, while the top speed remains the same at an electronically-capped 186 mph. Racing enthusiasts can rest easy knowing that the car was engineered to maintain the rear-drive character of a sports car with a nearly full rear bias under normal driving conditions, but given the ability to divert 50 percent to the front wheels when needed. The Jaguar AWD F-Type will make its debut on November 19 at the Los Angeles Auto Show.
