Hollywood has come a long way since Charlton Heston and The Ten Commandments. Aside from Cecil B. DeMille's iconic 1956 film, the only other successful retelling of the story of Moses was The Prince of Egypt (to our memory, anyway). From director Ridley Scott, a man who needs no introduction, comes Exodus: Gods and Kings, which, from the looks of it, may very well be the epic story's hat trick. In the film, Christian Bale stars as Moses, the Hebrew leader who sets 400,000 slaves free from the Egyptian Pharaoh Ramses, played by Joel Edgerton. With breathtakingly incredible visual effects and what will probably be superb performances from all the actors, this could potentially be one of the biggest movies of the year. Exodus: Gods and Kings comes out just in time for Christmas on December 12. Watch the official final trailer below.
