Chevrolet Colorado ZR2 Concept
General Motors has introduced the 2.8L Duramax diesel engine powered Chevy Colorado ZR2 Concept at the Los Angeles Auto Show this week. Resting on top of 275/65R18 off-road tires on custom 18-inch aluminum wheels, it has a wider body and tracks than its cousin, the Colorado Z71. Its broad torque also makes it powerful at a relatively low rpm, while the turbocharged performance gives the driver a smooth ride. The four-cylinder diesel unit gives it around 181hp at 3400rpm and brand new front and rear bumpers extend approach and departure angles for off-road driving, making the ZR2 Concept an efficient and beautiful model that will hopefully soon be part of the midsize truck market.
