Ronnie Fieg’s burgeoning KITH empire accomplishes two things with its latest project: bringing quality and innovation to its growing stable of apparel offerings, while also casting a spotlight on two names that are new to the Western marketplace: Japanese retailer nano universe, and one of the longest standing down manufacturers in Japan, Nishikawa Down. The resulting “Black Diamond” collection is built for winter, featuring a down parka, bomber jacket, vest and raw-hemmed hoodie, as well as quilted pants to complete the top-to-bottom outerwear concept. Modeling the pieces below are a quartet of noted entrepreneurs: Ronnie Fieg with partner Sam Ben-avraham, as well as Sky Gellatly and Coltrane Curtis, the managing partners of strategic marketing agency Team Epiphany.
The KITH x nano universe x Nishikawa Down “Black Diamond” Collection is set to launch in-store at both KITH locations on Black Friday, followed by an online release on December 1 at 11AM EST. The collection will also be made available in limited quantities at nano universe in Tokyo, Japan.
