adidas has unveiled the uniforms for the 2015 NBA All-Star Game, scheduled for February 15th at the basketball mecca of Madison Square Garden in New York City. The uniforms pay tribute to NYC’s rich basketball history, while also giving the nod to the city’s five boroughs. The jerseys — white for the Eastern Conference, black for the West — will feature five stars containing icons from each of the boroughs: the Unisphere (Queens), waves (Staten Island), a checkered taxi pattern (Manhattan), a vinyl record (the Bronx) and brownstone bricks (Brooklyn). A matching warm-up jacket continues the military-themed patches, denoting the years played in the All-Star Game and other notable awards and titles. A shooting shirt features block lettering similar to the font used on shirts in the 1950s and ’60s. Look for the goods to be available for purchase starting in January.
