Ferrari has unveiled the FXX K, ahead of its official debut during the Finali Mondiali event in Abu Dhabi. Set to launch next year, the hypercar is based on the LaFerrari, borrowing its V12-plus-electric drivetrain but with a significant boost in power. The electric motor now generates 187 horsepower (instead of 160) and the 6.3-liter V12 delivers 848 hp (up from 789) for a total output of 1,035 hp. The engineers at Maranello also devoted plenty of attention to the aero package, featuring a two-part front splitter, vertical fins along the flanks, side skirts between the wheels, and a higher tail section with a mobile spoiler and a small wing on each side, all of which results in 50 percent more downforce. The vehicle will be offered to an exclusive group of clients, who will participate in a Maranello test program over the next two years.
