Daniel Craig will be 007 once again… After much speculations, the actor will be returning to his role as MI6’s lead agent in the upcoming James Bond’s film. Titled SPECTRE (SPecial Executive for Counter-intelligence, Terrorism, Revenge and Extortion), an acronym familiar to those who read the original James Bond novels by author Ian Fleming, the film will also see the return of actress Naomie Harris as Moneypenny, Ben Whishaw as the Quartermaster (better known as “Q”) and Rory Kinnear as Tanner. Replacing Dame Judi Dench will be actor Ralph Fiennes, who will be the head of MI6 as M.
In addition to the return of director Sam Mendes, who’s revision helped the 2012 James Bond 007: Skyfall to gross over $1 billion in box office sales worldwide, the film will see two new “Bond Girls” - the sultry Monica Bellucci and Léa Seydoux. Rounding off the list is David Bautista, best known for his role on Guardians of the Galaxy, as Mr. Hinx, and Christoph Waltz as Oberhauser, two associates within the SPECTRE organization. Of course, 007 will have a new mode of transport as well in the form of the aforementioned Aston Martin DB10.
The 24th James Bond 007 film will debut in theaters worldwide next winter on December 8th, 2015.
