Mercedes-Benz has officially unveiled its GLE Coupe, a part-SUV and part-coupe amalgam. In the U.S., the GLE 450 AMG will pack a 3.0-liter twin-turbocharged V6, good for 362 hp and a 384 pound-feet of torque. It’s connected to a new nine-speed automatic transmission and Mercedes’ 4Matic all-wheel-drive system. An available Dynamic Select system will allow drivers to play around with parameters like shift logic and exhaust tone, as well as an adjustable air suspension for varying driving surfaces. Representing the first model in the AMG Sports line, the GLE will roll into showrooms sporting plastic body cladding, chrome trim, a dual exhaust system and standard 20-inch alloy wheels. The GLE Coupe will launch in the US market in late summer 2015.
