To bring you your daily dose of architecture news for the day, it has been announced that adidas has enlisted Danish firm COBE to design adidas Group's "Meet & Eat" flagship building at their World of Sports headquarters in the extremely-difficult-to-pronounce Herzogenaurach, Germany, where the brand was first started by Adolf “Adi” Dassler way back in 1949. The enormous 11,000-square-meter structural beast will be in the shape of a totally awesome rhombus (a non-self-intersecting quadrilateral with equal-sized sides for you non-Geometry heads). The building will feature operable floor to ceiling windows and indoor winter gardens, giving employees and visitors alternative meeting and eating areas. Pretty cool.
