Nicki Minaj has finally released her highly anticipated (and very often delayed) album The Pinkprint. It's hard to keep track of what she does lately (because she does so much) but when she makes music, we get to see a side of her that doesn't come out when she's Nicki the actress or Nicki the businesswoman. She returns to her rap roots with a number of very personal songs, many of which sound almost like letters she's written. There are, of course, a few more "mainstream" pop tracks that fans can bop along to (like "Anaconda") but she explores a pretty wide range of styles, which can almost seem incongruous at times but the album comes together nicely and works really well. The Pinkprint, featuring some great guest appearances (namely Beyonce), is available now in stores, on iTunes and on Spotify for your streaming pleasure. Take a listen below.
