It wasn’t that long ago when Coltrane Curtis was one of the MTV VJs, interviewing celebrities like Pharrell Williams on the red carpet. Now, as one of the managing partners at creative agency Team Epiphany, Curtis is looking back at those times with a certain fondness. So, for Team Epiphany’s upcoming 10th anniversary, the company partnered with Pharrell’s Billionaire Boys Club in creating a one-of-a-kind Billionaire Boys Club x Team Epiphany 10th Anniversary graphic tee.
Emblazoned with Billionaire Boys Club’s familiar astronaut logo on the front, the shirt’s two collaborators decided to put a spin on things with the incorporation of Team Epiphany’s “illuminous” branding along with the number “10.” In black with white lettering, only 144 of these were made to be gifted to family and friends like DJ Stretch Armstrong, NYLON’s Josh Madden, Mr. Mort, and BBC’s Global Brand Manager Phillip Leeds, who added:
Coltrane and Team Epiphany have been supporters of ours from day one. We very rarely form
partnerships and only do so with those we consider family. I want to congratulate Coltrane and Team
Epiphany. Ten years is one thing, but a decade of continuous growth is on another level.
Asked for his reflection on the last decade, Curtis said, “Team Epiphany is more than a logo. Ten years means that we are not a trend, and we plan to be around for 100 more. Respect to our brand partners, agency partners, friends + family.”
